Andrew Crawford is a highly experienced and capable facilitator and coach who began his consulting career with AON Consulting, having previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco as a client relationship executive and before that, he was a worldwide partner with Mercer Human Resource Consulting for 15 years. At Mercer, Andrew effectively served in a number of senior sales and marketing management roles in both the UK and the US. The skipper’s role in this race has been likened to one of the toughest management jobs in the world. Leading a group of amateur sailors from all walks of life through triumphs and disasters Alex learned many lessons relevant to the business world of today. She is the only female skipper to ever win a leg of this race, which is all about ordinary people achieving extraordinary results.
Her extensive experience ability and experience gained by training amateur crews not only to sail but also to handle the many pressures created by life in the cramped conditions on board for extensive periods of time, has given rise to her speaking and training prowess in the Corporate world.
